For more than eight years, Tim and Pam have been teaching improvisation to older adults in Canada and the United States.

Tim (performing professionally as Cory Cooper) has completed the full improvisation training program through Second City in Toronto and is a working ACTRA member. He studied at Seneca College and Leah Poslun's. His professional experience provides students with a strong foundation in the principles of improvisation while keeping every class approachable, relaxed, and fun.

Tim believes that the best improv happens when people feel safe enough to take creative chances. His calm, encouraging style helps participants discover confidence they didn’t know they had.

Pam holds a Bachelors Degree from Ryerson University and is a Certified Adult Learning Trainer and Facilitator through Georgian College (TATA) with a passion for creating welcoming learning environments where everyone feels comfortable participating.

She believes that every person has something valuable to contribute and that some of life’s greatest learning happens when people feel accepted, encouraged, and free to be themselves.

Their goal has never been simply to teach improv games. Their goal is to create a place where adults 55+ can laugh freely, learn confidently, and build meaningful friendships.

Many participants arrive feeling nervous. Most leave wondering why they waited so long to try it. Nothing brings Tim and Pam greater joy than watching people discover new confidence, celebrate one another’s successes, and leave each class smiling. That’s why they continue to teach. Because every new class begins with strangers. And often ends with friends.
